Request account deletion

You can request deletion of your Mashqi account and associated data. This page explains how to submit a request, what we delete, what we may keep, and how long processing takes. Mashqi is published on Google Play; this URL is provided to meet Play Store data-deletion requirements.

How to request deletion

Email us from the address linked to your Mashqi account (or tell us the phone number you use to sign in). We will verify your identity before deleting anything.

Overview

Account deletion removes your ability to sign in and deletes or anonymizes personal data tied to your user profile. If you are a branch owner, you may also request deletion of your entire branch and its operational records.

Who can use this page

Branch administrators (owners), riders, and customer-portal users may request deletion of their own login. Branch owners may additionally request full branch deletion, which removes data for all users and customers under that branch.

Steps to request deletion

Send an email to mashqi.connect@gmail.com with the details below. We reply to confirm receipt and may ask follow-up questions to verify ownership.

  1. Send from the email address registered on your Mashqi account, or state the phone number used for OTP sign-in.
  2. Include your full name and branch / business name so we can locate the correct tenant.
  3. State whether you want only your user login removed, or full branch deletion (all customers, deliveries, and records for that business).
  4. Confirm that you understand deletion is permanent and cannot be undone after the processing window.

Data we delete

After verification, we delete or disable:

  • Your user profile (name, email, phone, password hash) and sign-in access.
  • Active sessions and authentication tokens.
  • If you request full branch deletion: branch settings, users, customers, deliveries, payments, inventory, and other records scoped to that branch, unless retention is required by law.

Data we may retain

Some information may be kept for a limited time:

  • Encrypted backups may retain deleted data for up to 90 days before automatic purge.
  • Security, fraud-prevention, and audit logs may be kept where required to comply with law or resolve disputes.
  • Subscription and payment records needed for accounting or tax obligations may be retained as required.

Processing time

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. You will receive an email when your account has been deleted or when branch deletion is finished. Until then, you may continue to sign in unless you ask us to deactivate access immediately.

Identity verification

To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm details only the account holder would know (registered email, business name, recent activity). We will not complete deletion requests from unrecognized third parties without written authorization from the branch owner.
