Capability

Returnable container management software

Every bottle, cylinder, and crate you own that is sitting in someone else's home - counted, valued, and chased.

Returnable containers - bottles, cylinders, and crates - tracked per customer with deposits

One balance per customer

How many of your containers each customer holds, updated at every stop.

Deposits held against them

The deposit sits with the customer and the containers it covers.

Value at risk

Containers outstanding multiplied by replacement cost - the number owners act on.

The asset nobody counts

Returnable containers are capital you have lent out. A depot with thousands of bottles, cylinders, or crates in circulation is often carrying more value off-site than it holds in cash - and a monthly stock count never catches it, because the number moves every day.

Mashqi builds the figure out of the delivery flow itself. Every stop records what went out and what came back, so the outstanding balance is a by-product of normal work rather than a separate exercise.

Same model, any container

A 19-litre bottle, an LPG cylinder, a milk crate, and a pallet all behave identically: they leave full, they should come back empty, and someone owes you until they do. Set up each container as its own item and the same reports work across every product line you run.

Deposits that mean something

A deposit only protects you if it is recorded against the specific customer and reconciled when containers return. Mashqi holds the deposit on the customer record next to the container count, so closing an account is arithmetic rather than an argument.

Chase by age

The outstanding report sorts by how long containers have been out, so your team works the oldest and largest holders first instead of sending the same reminder to everybody.

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of containers can Mashqi track?
Any returnable item: water bottles, LPG cylinders, milk crates and glass bottles, shells, and pallets. Each is set up as its own item with its own deposit.
How is the outstanding balance calculated?
It is the running difference between containers delivered to a customer and containers returned by them, updated every time a delivery is posted.
Can I see the money value, not just the count?
Yes. Containers outstanding are valued at the deposit or replacement cost you configure, so you can see capital at risk per customer and in total.
Does this work if I run more than one product line?
Yes. Bottles, cylinders, and crates can all be tracked in the same branch, each with separate balances and deposits.
